Overview

Hello there Sims Community! Thril2 here with another simple XML tuning mod for The Sims 3 that will allow your Sim to learn more traits about another Sim through interacting with them. This mod will only work after you have purchased for your Sim the Lifetime Reward Trait: Observant.

This mod was constructed solely for the purpose of supporting any Sims 3 player in their gameplay. Many of you MTS Community Members may be familiar with a mod developed by Rainbow_Brite that is titled, Add More Traits to Your Sims! (GEN Compatible). For those of you who use the mod developed by Rainbow_Brite, now your chances of discovering all of another Sims traits through social interactions has increased.

I have taken the liberty to setup some presets for you to download. All that you are required to do is select 1 file to download and install from the list and wa-lah, you are on your way to an even more unique gameplay experience with The Sims 3. Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated and welcomed. Thank you for your time and consideration in choosing to take a look at or try out this mod.

Mod Versions

Below you will find a list of 4 different variations for this game mod. Each individual file will have a different effect on how many traits your Sim will learn about another Sim at one time. The downloaded file will override the default values stored in the GameplayData.package, which is located in the Main Game Folder install directory under (The Sims 3/Game/Bin/Gameplay).

(IMPORTANT: Only Choose 1 Version of the Game Mod to Download and Install)

thril2_ObserveMoreSimTraits_10 - Learn up to 10 traits from a Sim

Below is a version of my mod with extended trait learning capabilities for Simmers who want use the mod developed by Rainbow_Brite, titled Add More Traits to Your Sims! (GEN Compatible).

thril2_ObserveMoreSimTraits_15 - Learn up to 15 traits from a Sim
thril2_ObserveMoreSimTraits_20 - Learn up to 20 traits from a Sim
thril2_ObserveMoreSimTraits_50 - Learn up to 50 traits from a Sim

Warning

The use of this mod will conflict with any other game mod that alters the Trait Tuning values for The Sims 3.

As always, ensure that you backup your save files prior to the installation of this game mod.
This game mod is relatively simple and alters the number of traits that your Sim will observe after purchasing the Observant Lifetime Reward Trait. In the event that something does go wrong with this mod, simply uninstall the mod and reload your saved game.

Conflicts

This mod overrides the TraitTuning_XML file and will conflict with any mod that modifies the following XML file:

How to Uninstall

In order to properly uninstall this mod, you will need to delete the mod file (thril2_ObserveMoreSimTraits) from the Mods Folder: My Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Mods/Packages
