Description

Complete re-balance of the Power Armors in Fallout 3 following Canon and "common sense".

This MOD is under development regarding the "Effects" to add on the different Power Armors, check "Comments" if you want to suggest or approve changes!

English and Italian language.

IMPORTANT INFO: The "Forged_Engine" Mod is REQUIRED for avoiding any possible crash that otherwise could happen due to "Client restriction on Effect list length" and is INCLUDED in the File Download, remember to flag it too.

General Overview
================
All common and unique power armors of the game have been re-balanced, the logic is the following:
1. All power armor helmets give +1 Perception and from +10 to +25 AP due to integrated hud and reduce Charisma based on the "bad look" of the different helmets.
2. All power armor body weight sightly more then Vanilla but increase the player max weight for balancing it, if you wear a power armor is simplier to carry other power armors or heavy gear as it should be.
3. Added Fire Resistance and Energy Resistance to All Power armors and power helmets with different values based on "my own logic TM" and fallout canon.
4. All power armors are renamed following a more "canon" style and come in English and Italian version.
5. While the standard brotherood power armor (renamed T-45d MKII) and enclave power armor (renamed Advanced Power Armor MKII) and "common" variants are "Jack of all trades" the "unique" armor and the Tesla armor are very specialized, more details on the stat list.
6. All T-45d "kind" included T-51b can be repaired using eachoter.
7. Enclave Power Armor and Tesla Power Armor can be repaired using eachoter.
8. Radiation Resistance is splitted between Body and Helmet parts due to the "filtering" provided by the helmet.
9. Advanced Power Pack (Enclave armor backpack) is now added and work as an external power source for the armor providing more lifted weight and a bit of energy resist.

1. Power Armor helmets now give from 10 to 25 ap based on technology level.
2. T-51b Power Armor now is way better, highter Phisical dmg resitance, second better energy resist (after tesla), second better rad resist (after medical power armor), In line with others Fire Resist.
3. Advanced Power Pack included in the package, providing additional Weight lifting (+150 lbs) and a 10% of Energy resist due to tesla coils on it and just a plain 5% Phisical damage resist.
4. Some errors with numbers fixed.
5. Project renamed to "Forged" beacause i liked it more as a "container" for my projects that will all be tagged "Forged".

0.1.1 2008/11/29 - MOD Rewritten from Scratch
1. The mod itself was re-written from scratch for fixing some issues, now ALL the bonus applied from Power Armors are showed in game.
2. For "Safety" Reasons now the module REQUIRE the Forged_Engine mod that is included in the Mod package.
3. Some errors and typo fixed.

0.1.2 2008/11/29 - HOTFIX! T-51b Power Armor
1. Fixed an error from the mod rewrite that not allowed the T-51b armor to be repaired with default T-45d MKII as was intended from this mod.
2. Some typo fixed.

"Rare" power armor version, found on death bodies of Lyon's pride team, a 5% normal resist was added due to the fact these armor are selected for the best and made out of the best picies available in brotherood.

MP-47/A Prototype Medical Power Armor
=====================================
This armor is specialized for "Hazardous" environment, with 50% standard Rad resist plus the standard 25% of the helmet, with a Rad-X can reach 100% rad resistance for limited period of time (depending on the Rad-X), it still talk, and while fire and energy resist are very low the Phisical resist is 5% highter, the specialized medic equipment reduce the str bonus to +1.

T-51b Power Armor
=================
Unique piece of gear, beign the Most advanced armor available it's the best one "all around", All damage resistances are outstanding and the normal damage resist is the best of all power armors reaching including helmet an outstanding 80%, this armor is way heavier then "modern" power armors but the extreme quality of the reactor and engines give this armor the chance to bring even more weight balancing the situation, following canon this armor provide +3 str.

Enclave developed power armor, due to ceramic material this armor is a little bit more light compared to standard brotherood armors while allowing the same ability to lift more weight, this armor provide better resist then a normal brotherood power armor but nothing amazing, the fire resistance is pretty low on all Enclave developed armor due to more focus on energy weapons.

NOTE: this piece according to this description should be weared ONLY over Power Armors, if you wear it on other armors you sux :)

Install
=======
1. Load your last save, unequip any power armor you are wearing.
2. Copy the .esp file(s) to (install folder)\Fallout3\Data\
3. Start Fallout Launcher, click 'Data Files', place a checkmark beside the .esp file(s).
4. Launch Game

Uninstall
=========
1. Start Fallout Launcher, click Data Files, uncheck the .esp file(s).
2. Delete the .esp file(s) from \Fallout3\Data\

Incompatibility
===============
1. All MODS that Modify the "Power Armor's" items and effects will not be compatible with this mod, mods that change only the "mesh" without .esp files could be compatible.
2. All MODS that modify the "Skills" descriptions, abbreviations etc will not be compatible with this mod

Known Issues or Bugs
====================
1. If you don't use the Forged_Engine MOD there could be a chance that in your language the game will CRASH as soon as you hover the mouse on one of the modified power armor due to "too long" Effect list, using the Forged_Engine mod prevent this at all, unifying those "Abbreviations" for all languages.
