Version 1.02 of the very classy and stylish X-46 Advanced Battlearmor, created by Moshpit. This is one hell of an exoskeleton suit! And for only 25 Rubles, it's practically being given away. The main focus of version 1.02 is an "Updated version with weight display fixed and new rifle added. Also rolled in the optional selections for those who don't want the full powered version.

X-46 Advanced Battlearmor Suit:
This exoskeletal suit is a new protoype modification of the original battlesuits designed for extra-planetary combat by Rexler Industries for the United States Air Force.

The battlesuit is built from new a newly discovered hyper-dense, but ultra light weight metal known as Quantimantium, a quantum-density alloy created in artifical "black holes".

Additional onboard systems include built in night/low-light visual enhancement, radiation absorbing surface, internal inertial dampeners for kinetic/shock/concusive reduction, dual redundant power systems, and enhanced artifical musculature for large weight loads of up to 200kg weight.

This advanced battlesuit is the epitomy of military defence hardware and should be undamageable by anything short of a direct hit by a 1 kiloton tactical nuclear warhead and could possibly even keep the wearer alive through that (though the suits functionality after such an event is not garunteed).

G41 AARS (Advanced Assault Rifle System):
Using the standard G36 Assault Rifle as a base, Rexler Industries built this rifle as the perfect compliment to the X-46 Advanced Battlearmor Suit.

By utilizing the same quantimantium that's used in the armor on the rifle also, additional features like expanded magazine, better optics, longer range, enhanced durability, and nearly unfailing accuracy, the G41 is in all respects the proper replacement for the now aging G36/G37 line.

Real Description:
I used the excellent tutorial by Niphty on the filefront forums to make this suit and wasn't going to post it until I realized that alot of people were having such difficulty with Stalker even on easy mode that maybe this could help out in reducing frustration with the game, it certainly has made me enjoy the game a bit more. I've included some new screenshots to show the armor holding different weapons.

For those who have been asking, this is the same model as the existing Exoskeleton suit, just spec modified to be more functional. This does not replace that suit but instead coexists with both the normal and unique exoskeleton suits in the game and both will still be available and unaffected by this mod.

Addionally, a new rifle, basicly a spec upgraded G36, has also been added. This rifle can only be purchased at the Freedom Trader known as Skinflint. He sells the rifle for a fair price, tho not nearly as cheaply as the armor itself.

Install:
Simply extract the compressed gamedata folder to the Stalker main directory, everything should copy to the correct folders on it's own as with most other mods from that point on.

An optional folder has been included that has the lower powered versions of the armor for those who prefer a more balanced version. Simply follow the above install directions, then select the unique_items.ltx from the optional version of your choice and use that to overwrite the one added by the mod in the stalker directory gamedata/config/misc with the new one you selected.

Uninstall:
Remove the added files from the Stalker/gamedata folder. These files are, trade_ecolog.ltx, trade_trader.ltx, unique_items.ltx (all found in the Stalker main directory /gamedata/config/misc) and string_table_outfit.xml (found in the stalker main directory /gamedata/config/text/eng).

Usage:
This suit can be purchased at any trader for 25 rubles, a slight increase from the original version. The suit itself is very inexpensive so that it can be purchased easily. You'll only need one, it heals it's own damage before you even see it happen on the armor's health bar.

Suit Characteristics:
1. Heavy flame protection
2. Heavy bullet protection
3. Heavy chemical burn protection
4. Heavy anti-bleeding protection
5. Heavy anti-electrical shock protection
6. Complete mutant claw/fang attack protection
7. Complete radiation protection (can now escape from the radiation dirt devils if you move quickly enough)
8. approx. 200kg load weight and full sprint up to that weight (over weight stops you immediately)
9. Blue tinted night vision

Bugs:
I've adjusted the weight ratio to bring it down as close to 200kg as possible, it may allow up to 10kg over, not sure. This version now properly displays the weight limit in the inventory (thanks FoxTwo). This version is english language only.

Redistribute:
Feel free to use, abuse, and tear this file up however you like. Copy it, chew on it, spit it in the fire, I'm cool. No restrictions on usage as far as I'm concerned, you download it, it's yours. If you decide to use it in one of your own mods for posting, I wouldn't mind a mention, but also full credit goes to Niphty for the original tutorial and to Balnazzar for his excellent trader mod that gave me the knowledge how to mod the traders correctly.

Additional credits:
Banazzar for his Trader mod
Niphty for his tutorial
FoxTwo for his pointer on weight limit display
Pseudoant for his Hud and Blood mod

Please enjoy,
Moshpit
