Which is the best gun in Halo?

There are a variety of guns in Halo, some better than others. Which is your favourite weapon and why?

For me it would have to be the shotgun, while its not very precise it does a lot of damage at close range. Plus it reminds me of shooting Zombies! :)

Brute Spiker for me. Halo 3 only. It's fast, and while only doing moderate damage, ammo for it is abundant. :good:

I've got two favorites, as for the fact I can't only have one of them. The battle rifle, due to the fact of the 3RB and 3x scope, and the beam rifle. Love the doubletaps.

It would have to be the energy sword(I love to sneak up behind some1 like a ninja and kill them) :shoot:
