I didn't have any crashes when using the old Streamline 2.1, however I found it had some bugs.
Streamline 3.0 caused lots of crashes and 3.1 caused loads too. I'll take your advice and try 3.0 again when I get the mod order sorted.
I have to admit I spend more time modding Oblivion than I do playing it. With the amount of user generated content out there I feel I've been missing out.
Thanks for your help!

lol, that also applies to me^_^.
If Streamline 3.1 works good for you, you probably shouldn't change it. Some updates might fix previous problems, but can also overthrough things for some ppl. I remember OBC, RIP...

In my experience, Oblivion has framerate issues on all computers, no matter how powerful they are.
I have a computer capable of running Far Cry 2 and Fallout 3 maxed out without any framerate issues, and still Oblivion is choppy sometimes.

I guess you have a dual core, right? you can tweak the Oblivion.ini to use multi threading. That caused a major boost for my performence.

Quad Core, and I already tweak the .ini file.
