Two savegames for a fast start on a new game.
Both saves were created with a clean install of New Vegas Ultimate Edition with all extra content enabled.


Skip character creation at Doc Mitchell's house.
Optionally have Sunny Smiles' tutorial completed as well.


Both saves start you on the road north of Goodsprings.
Walk north past the warning sign to the gap in the pavement and get prompted to reset your character.
After reset, head to the Prospector Saloon to talk to either Sunny or Trudy, depending on which save you choose.

Both saves have hardcore mode enabled for the Steam challenge but you can turn it off if you like.
Both games cycled through PIP-Boy and VATS first-use help screens so you won't be bothered by them.


The first save (pistol equipped) is right after leaving Doc Mitchell's house, just before going to Sunny.

The second save (rifle equipped) is right after completing Sunny's tutorial, just before going to Trudy.

The second save gives you an improved Goodsprings reputation for rescuing the settler.
The second save also gives you the following items collected during the tutorial:

- Distinctive Cigarette Butts from the cemetary.
- Goodsprings Snowglobe from the cemetary.
- Some additional creature loot.

Nothing else in Goodsprings was touched during the tutorial so it's a fast and clean start.


INSTALLATION

Unzip the savegame files into your New Vegas savegames folder.
On Windows it defaults to $(HOME)DocumentsMy GamesFalloutNVSaves
