Ok, I finally got my copy and just started playing this game. I am going nuts waiting for New Vegas to come out and I had to remove my old Fallout games because they just took up way too much room on my tiny hard drive so Borderlands is a great game to bide some time. It's called a RPG FPS, role playing first person shooter game. I call it fun. I am still learning the cheats and controls but there are a few program and things to do if you want to cheat like me. First of all, get this program, it works with and without Steam (I no longer play on Steam):

Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the "WillowGame.ini" file in the "\My Documents\My Games\Borderlands\WillowGame\Config" directory. Change the indicated value in one of the following lines in that file to activate the corresponding cheat function:

I used the Notepad ++ to edit. I'm using most of these except the Damage own teammates and NPC can damage each other, I need to research those more. I also used the "enable console" with the Borderlands Advanced Settings Tool and added these lines:

Within WillowInput.ini:

Search for [WillowGame.WillowPlayerInput]. Below the chunk of bindings, add the following:

F3 goes into third person, F4 switches back to first person. As such, you can swap out the keys (F3 and F4) to the keys of your liking.

I just started this game last night and am still learning the mechanics of it. Sadly there are no romances it's a different company (Gearbox) than Bioware but it uses the Unreal game engine. It's not real heavy on system resources and it's fun. It's cell shaded and textures are hand painted so the characters are certainly cartoony but in a good way. The guys are sexy and for me, that's all that matters. I'll post more as I learn it! I do have my own screenshots but I have a long day at work today and got 2 hours to play so *poof*
