The WoW Custom UI Thread

Yes, WoW captured me again^^. But this time, I won't play that much, just for fun if I have the time. While this game is already great, I always hated the UI. So I decided to change it 1 year ago. Well, after I decided to quit this MMORPG, I also deleted all files related to it and thus lost my brilliant GUI work.

Now I'm back with an even better UI:

In addition, this game runs very well on Linux! The only problem I have so far is the Minimap which turns white when being indoors, this is however a bug within the FGLRX Driver of my ATI vcard. I hope that AMD will fix this one day.

Firstly Mayu I edited the title from Threat to Thread as I think you made a typo. >.> Secondly I deleted my last post because it was totally irrelevant to the topic, and me pretty much hating on WoW.

So, the point of the post was to show off your WoW UI's. Since I realized with my earlier post I didn't really add anything relevent. I went ahead and I dug up an old screenshot, probably close to a year old by now that I had on my old computer to show what my UI used to look like. This was my PvP Mage during Burning Crusade before WOTLK.

This old pic was a pain to find on my old PC, but I knew I had it somewhere and felt obligated to post something relevant to this topic. Incidentally I took the shot on a whim in response to a "Show Your UI" thread on my realm's forum like a year ago so it fits. It's not the best quality, and the guild chat is blotted out for obvious reasons. Since when I posted this on a realm server long ago, it was to keep my Guild's Chat private out of respect to my guildies.

Also now that I'm looking at this old screenshot and Mayu's Unit Frames. It's obvious I'm mistaken. Mayu isn't using X-Perl as I suspected in the dumb post I made that I deleted. The unit frames just looked very similar and I haven't touched this game since November so of course I would forget exactly what my unit frames looked like.

I found a couple other shots too but they were all pretty much the same, I took them just to show off my UI and wound up deciding on one. I took pics I think with the free-trial of Fraps, by the look of it. I know I didn't use printscreen because WoW creates pictures in a really weird format when you do that, that I never wanted to be bothered with.

I still hate WoW... But I didn't want to ruin the thread by not posting anything relevant to it. Sorry about doing that earlier.
