CONTENTS
========

This mod contains meshes and textures for a realistic male body replacer for Fallout based on Robert's awesome work for Oblivion.

This version contains four body types to choose from:

- Muscular (too much for most)
- Default (Ideal)
- Runner (Next best if you think default is too muscular)
- Marathoner (weakling)

Each mesh comes in several flavors:

i. Briefs (for default only)
ii. Boxers
iii. Tunnelsnake Thong
iv) Nude, Uncut
v) Nude, Cut

VERSION 3 UPDATES
=================
With Version3, Robert's becomes a standalone male body replacer. NO other mod that affects the male body is compatible with this one. The changes include, but are not strictly limited to:

1. New, isolated Texture and Normal Maps
2. Increased Textures Size from 1024 to 2048
3. Seam Reduction
4. Raider Textures
5. Ghoul Textures
6. Complete Vanilla Armor REPLACEMENT (not retexture)
7. New outfits for the Goodsprings General Store, including my Young Rebel Outfit.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
=========================

With some scripting, FOMM would make this process easy for you, but its not fair that I should be forced to learn how to script custom installation options using C# and .NET, just so you can enjoy a two second installation time. I will appreciate your understanding in this matter, so without further ado...


STEP ONE:
Extract the contents of this archive into your Fallout New Vegas' Data directory. Overwrite any already existing files. You can extract using FOMM; the outcome is no different.


STEP TWO:
If you want to choose your own body selection, navigate to the following directory:

===> fallout new vegasDatameshescharacters_male

===> You will see FOUR folders: Default, Marathoner, Muscular & Runner

===> CHOOSE the one you want

===> Inside the chosen folder, select the option you want. Paste this file into the parent directory [fallout new vegasDatameshescharacters_male] and rename it to "upperbody.nif"

There will already be a file called "upperbody.nif" in there; delete or overwite it.


STEP THREE:
To invalidate, copy and paste the following lines into your "archiveinvalidation.txt" file located in your new vegas DATA directory.

textures/characters/male/upperbodymale.dds
textures/characters/male/upperbodymale_n.dds
textures/characters/male/upperbodymale_sk.dds
textures/characters/male/headhuman.dds
textures/characters/raider/upperbodymale.dds
textures/characters/raider/upperbodymale_n.dds
textures/characters/raider/upperbodymale_sk.dds
textures/characters/raider/headhuman.dds
textures/characters/ghoul/upperbodymale.dds
textures/characters/ghoul/upperbodymale_n.dds

If for whatever reason you don't have one, create one. If you haven't "bInvalidateOlderFiles=1", go to your DocumentsMyGamesFalloutNV folder, and edit the "Fallout.ini" and "FalloutPrefs.ini" files using notepad.

CTRL+F "bInvalidateOlderFiles" will find the entry for you, just set the "=0" to "=1", if it is not done so already.

KNOWN ISSUES + FAQ
==================

Q: AFTER INSTALLING THIS MOD, MY CUSTOM ARMORS DON'T WORK ANYMORE.

A: Existing custom armor sets will no longer work, UNLESS you edit your custom armor(s) in nifskope and change the texture path for all the body parts to the OLD body texture. There is a copy still available in version 3.0; find it in the following directory: [...texturesattcharactersmale]. For assistance, contact me. Don't assume that this mod has destroyed everything, and leave undeserved negative feedback.



Q: THE PIPBOY IS CLIPPING WITH THE FOREARM

A: I will not be fixing this issue. There is no solution to the clipping without shrinking the arm. If the arm is shrunk, then the other arm must be shrunk. Then if both arms are shrunk, body proportions will change and may alter the overall aesthetic of the body, etcetera etcetera. If the clipping bugs you, use the READIUS PIPBOY mod. It's good.



Q: WHAT ABOUT THE NECK SEAM?

A: What about it? I've done everything I can to reduce the visibility of this seam. There has already been a good reduction since I started tinkering with for 3.0, so its the best you'll get. This issue cannot ever be fixed unless the neck and body are welded together, which is not possible.



Q: WHAT HAPPENED TO THE FAT BIKER AND THE EMACIATED DUDE(S)?

A: Does anybody even use these? If I receive any requests for them, I will remap them with all options, and return them.



Q: IS THE ESP NECESSARY?

A: If for whatever reason you think the esp might be unnecessary and therefore delete or disable it, I hope you develop a taste for textureless ghouls, and mismatching raider hands. The esp is important, and doesn't just instantiate cheap clothes mods.

Conversely, for those of you who do not appreciate the efforts i've gone to, and instead wish to bemoan and blame me for every little detail that annoys you, don't be direspectful, go find an alternative. I was under no obligation to spend days and days of my time improving this mod for you, and neither are you under any obligation to use it.

Please give your credits to Robert and Sickleyield, for without the body mesh itself none of my texturing and armor modifications would have been possible.

You are free to do whatever you like with Roberts Bodies and the altered textures that I have created for Roberts Body, but please give credit. Do not modify or upload manipulations of the rest of the assets, particularly the contents of the "ATT" folders.

If using the bodies or textures, please give credit where credit is due. The breakdown for everything in the archive is as follows:

- The default body was created by Robert.
- The alternative bodies were created by Sicklyield, using Robert's default body.
- The Thong mesh was created by Robert and retextured by Sickleyield using fallout content.
- The shorts mesh is Sickleyield's, adapted from Fallout content.
- The Circumsized mesh was created by AlienSlof.
- The ghoul texture is the original ghoul texture for Roberts body, courtesy of BREEZE.
- The body textures (male and raider) were modified by me using stock photography, brushwork and bits of Robert's Nord texture.
- The briefs on the default body, and its texture, were created by me.
- The rebel outfit and it's texture was also created by me based on bits and pieces of fallout OC or my own work.
- Credits to Tavtav for the 5o'clock shadow head texture (from Fallout3), which I used as the base for my raider head texture.

By installing this mod you agree that you know it contains nude body meshes and textures, and nobody is going to assume responsibility for you or your household for being exposed to digital nudity. Additionally, you agree that no one other than yourself is at fault for any inconveniences caused due to your use, misuse or mis-installation of this mod.
