Wow, I just bought Borderlands last night and I have to say I like it. I'm playing through as the soldier at the moment, he is only about level 4. I'm still figuring out how to distribute my stats when I level up.

I have to say each character looks really intriguing and its going to be fun figuring out which skills are best. I had no idea you could use elemental damage in the game, it sounds wicked!

Don't worry about cheating, I've been known to cheat in games too.

Are you on xbox also? I forget. If not, here is a really nice program you can use to enable console commands (I haven't needed any) and change some settings, I use it for the F9 command to remove the HUD for screenshots:

Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the "WillowGame.ini" file in the "\My Documents\My Games\Borderlands\WillowGame\Config" directory. Change the indicated value in one of the following lines in that file to activate the corresponding cheat function:

Bosses do not regain health after dying Set "bBossesRegenHealthOnReset" to "false"

These codes do not work with online play. Nothing works except a few of my trainer codes.

As always make sure to backup your game config files before changing ANYTHING! All I do is copy and paste the WillowGame folder to a safe place before messing with the config.

I've just made this keybinding and it seems to be working perfect. It allows you to toggle between first- and thirdperson with F1, the zooming is always correct and you can still fire the weapon in a vehicle.
Just add this to the end of [WillowGame.WillowPlayerInput]:
