possibly need a new graphics card... again
by Keylek » February 21st, 2011, 6:52 pm
hi mods reloaded once again.
now, as some of you know, i started a topic not that long ago asking for what graphics carrd should i get for my computer. tthe graphics card i decided to get was the "XFX ATI Radeon HD 5870" for 200 pounds. but yet it turns out the shop i wanted it from is out of stock with the graphics card. i should not be surprised due to the normal frice for the graphics card from any other shop is normally around 300 pounds. so now i need a new one. one very simular to the one i wanted. here is a link to the one i wanted (still on the bloody website even though apparently out of stock in every store)
http://www.scan.co.uk/products/3701gb-x ... vi-dp-hdmi
so now i am looking for one of a simular power. i do not mind if it is a ATI or a nvidea, so long as its a simular power for under 220 pounds.
i know some of you must be getting sick of this now, but please post your suggestions of what i should look into...
with thanks

(UPDATE)
i do not need to decide on getting a diffenent graphics card then the one i wanted, the shop i ordered it from is going ot get a new stock of them by the end of this week, but yet they decided to take my money first before i got my product (very kind of them) but hopefully i will get the card i want by the end of this week, i am sure its worth the wait

Yay for a happy ending, I'm sure you will be happy with your new card.
There is no such thing as a stupid question, but there are a lot of inquisitive idiots.
