Using the new GECK and FOMM I have modified the Night Vision Sunglasses from FO3 for FNV. Full credit to Lost Cosmonaut for his wonderful and useful mod. When worn, you can toggle a night vision effect that is turned off when the glasses are taken off. They will automatically be put into your inventory after installing the mod, and can also be obtained via the console as follows:
player.additem XX000EA6 1
where XX is this mod's ID in your load order. In the absence of a New Vegas Mod Manager, I used this basic but useful tool to set the load order: http://newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=34969
