Mount and Blade
Games Master: No volunteers
Calradia is the setting of the Mount & Blade games. There are five factions (six in Warband), each with a ruler, a claimant, twenty vassals and a collection of fiefs that make up each faction's region.
The land of Calradia is neither static or only affected by the players actions. Factions are free to wage war, form alliances or sign peace treaties with other nations. Farmers travel to the markets to sell their harvest and Caravans, lead by traders, march from town to town trading goods and fending off looters and thieves.
Nobles and Kings march their armies around the lands attending Tournaments, Feasts and collection their dues from fiefs entrusted to them; at times of war plunder their enemies, meeting them in the field or laying siege to their towns cutting of trade.
Deserters seeking gold and plunder, having fled the harsh rule of their masters as well as Bandits and Brigands of all sorts patrol trade routes and attack villagers Caravans and small parties whilst evading the attacks of Manhunters seeking recognition and reward for their capture. Fiefs change hands at times of war and Nobles seeking a better King or having been accused of treason seek shelter, defecting to other Factions.
