MAO - Mayu's Animation Overhaul
Current Version: 1.2
Description:
MAO changes the Animation paths of all NPCs to custom folders. That way, Players can use custom attack replacers without being copied by all other NPCs. Different (fighting) Idles are also possible now.

History:
While testing Mods for Beni, I noticed the flaw of all NPCs using the same animations. I thought of a possible workaround and quickly came to the conclusion to just move a folder with the skeleton to another location. MRI(Mayu's Race Idles) was born. Beni helped alot with finding and elimination bugs in the 1st release. Without him, it would take me months untill I could find the solutions. He also created a low-end version for ppl who experience performance problems and instability.
Later I had the idea overthrowing my work for a better and now more experienced concept,with the 2 main objectives: make it easier to add custom NPCs and remove the performance and stability issues. So I started to work on MAO.

This sounds awesome, when can we expect it to be released, its one of the things that always annoyed me about Oblivion. How many attack animations are you intending to add in.
Is there a beta we can try out meanwhile. My mouth is salivating.

planned release for MAO fixed 0.5 will be this sunday.
The Animations will take much longer, I started with something which needs more improvements. I won't make any announcements for it yet. You know, I'm learning for my MCA atm which take so much time, I barely can finish MAO, playing is a no-go atm...

I'm doing a web design course too at the moment, know what its like. Keep up the good work though. Your mod sounds excellent, just what Oblivion needs in my opinion. I'll be looking for it on Sunday.
