Hi,
I have a little problem I need some help with.
i have downloaded and installed the Animation Overhaul (i think correctly since this is not the problem) and because i liked the movements/combination of animations used in the two videos i have downloaded & installed at least DCM Stylish and Spell Singer (both specialanim versions with esp files).
the load order should be correct i think, and when i start the game the attack animations and the cast animations are changed like they should, but the animation when not moving how the char holds the weapon (2hand sword shouldered like in DMC) are never the less the vanilla ones, but when i open the inventory there are shown those new animations properly!
i think i need a tut or something how to install the animation mods with MAO properly. would be great if you could help me with this!
and theres another question i have: does anyone know a good mod where the 1st person animation are changed? and is it usual that the spells casted with using spell singer dont aim at the center of the screen where the crosshair is?

I have a Question
When Im using this It breaks some of my Special animations, Like my some of my spell casts go back to vanilla the odd thing is SOME work and then others don't
More accurately Im using Spell singer and DMC Specials
All the DMCs APPEAR to work fine however when it comes to spell singer If im unarmed or using a 1 hand weapon with or without a sheild I get the Vanilla Spell animations...Im confused onto why Two handed weapon Casting uses Spell singer and staff casting uses Spell singer however Unarmed and 1 handed weapon casting do not.
even weirder when i create a full actor copy of myself using a 1handed weapon or unarmed they get all the spell singer animations while in both combat types While I still can't use them :(
EDIT....well I think I may have figured it out...i could be wrong >> it seems Spell singer doesn't have animations/sounds for when you have a sheild or torch equipped O-o or maybe i am Wrong lol... >.< if im right thats a bummer cuase i would really like to have those animations while holding those items

This mod looks absolutely fantastic. I don't normally go for animation replacers for this exact reason, and because special animation mods conflict with DR, but unfortunately I'm also a fan of mods that add new landmasses, and that means NPCs.
Would a patch covering things like Stirk, Bartholm, the unique landscapes mods, and Elsweyr ever be something we might expect to see?

Well I see no posts have been made here in a while, so I hope someone sees this and answers it.
I have installed MOA and DMC Stylish. I get the nice attack animations, but the trouble is so do the npcs. I installed the animations in the specialanims folder as told, but darn if the npcs dont use the attacks too. So I am guessing I did something wrong.
I have activated the DMC Stylish esp for special anims. and the load order is correct. I was under the assumption the installing MAO would make it so only the player would have the special anims. Maybe I am wrong.
One more thing, what exactly does MAO do besides make it so the anims are player only. Does it add any anims as well?

No it does not add any animations, you are correct, MAO is only supposed to limit special animations to the player only.
Are you loading MAO before DMC Stylish or after it in your load order?
You may need to compile a bashed patch using the Wrye Bash Utility before the mods will work.
