That is so odd... just two days ago I started playing Fallout 3 like crazy, too. I'd love to test out your custom classes if you need someone to. Right now I'm just setting up all the right mods before I actually start playing. I was looking for clothes & armor packs, and all of them requires nude base mod.I guess it's required to make the mesh & texture to look right. The character creation is not like Mass Effect. You can't really fine tune it just right. Well maybe there's a way but I don't know it. I guess I don't have enough patient to do it with the tools given. With Mass Effect I made my character almost look like Kate Beckensale. So yeah, I have a fever for Fallout 3 right now as well.

Well it's not exactly for release since I basically created my Fallout 3 Alita by using other peoples mods. Specifically textures... I used some custom race that was essentially the same as the normal Fallout races only nude, and swapped the body texture with one from some Terminator mod. I did have to actually texture the neck on her though, which was my first successful texturing job ever.
Basically Alita is a cyborg with a human head and cybernetic body in the manga. Here's what Alita looks like,
Here's my Fallout 3 Alita
See they look familiar? Of course Alita does wear clothing, but since her body is essentially a hunk of steel she doesn't have to. In the manga Gunnm aka Battle Angel Alita she's basically a badass cyborg in a nice cyber-punk setting. It's not all far fetched to have an Alita character in the Fallout 3 universe considering in both universes it's kind of a post apocalyptic wasteland. Colonel Autumn's Coat, and a few body suit mods look spiffy on my Fallout 3 Alita. I'm very proud of this character for the simple fact that I managed to texture her neck. I know it sounds small but it looked odd before when she had skin going down her neck, and I finally managed to fix it. Not a great texture job, but fits the character. I'm still pretty early in the game, but I have a few mods I want.
I like Fallout 3 in that as a stand alone title it really doesn't need many mods, where as Oblivion is terrible without mods. Thus I don't really run many mods in Fallout 3.

I only use small mods for Fallout 3. Things like increased ammo from corpses and stores, deceases wear tear 25%, increase spawns things like that. Right now I'm trying to find he right set of weapons like snipers, assault rile but all them so far are ovepowering. I'll find the right ones, just need to look through 100 pages (sigh). Also looking at some animations and a few caught my eyes. I'm also looking for a cool companion to follow me around and carry my loot. I don't really need my companion to fight just to do all the heavy lifting. I'm testing out Jessi right now, and she's pretty cool so far. Not annoying like Bittercup. Oh, and I'd really love to have Dog Meat not so dumb like the default is. So when I have all those just right then I'll start playing the game.
Your character look extremely awesome! That's too bad that you can't share.
I promise I won't take screen shots or make videos of her if you share?
The name Alita reminds me of a greek mythology... a guy name Attila. He wasn't a good guy. I actually used Attila playing World of Warcraft years ago, but I hate that game and its people. Long story I don't even want to get into it. So anyway, it looks to me that you're a very talented modder. When can I expect mods from you? Wait just hold that thought... I know exactly what you're going to say. You're going to tell me that you only do it for yourself. Its a shame really, because what would gaming world be without modders like yourself? BLAND!

Hah! Well thank you, but I never really considered myself much a modder though others beg to differ due to some of the stuff I do. The thing is my "mods" if you will are all for the most part built off of pre-existing mods. Ergo I prefer the term tweaker. On top of that I'm not exactly organized in how I create said mods, so if I were to release them you would wind up with a plethora of problems.
1.) Most of my tweaks are dependent on one or more existing mods. Usually more...
2.) Since everything is an unorganized mess, except for me because I did all the tweaking and know what goes where. You would need to likely download a bunch of other things in order to get my stuff to work.
3.) The authors of the mods I've tweaked to kingdom come, would likely be displeased with me releasing their works in a jumbled package.
This is the case with most of my Oblivion tweaks, and since they are so blended a readme alone would be hard to swing since they would require so much existing stuff.
Now I guess I could figure out a way to get you the Alita race mod, but you would need to download the necessary textures/mods first. Then I could give you my Dimowhatever race esp that I tweaked and add the new folders I created for it. I used a Female Caucasian variant from that mixed with textures from some Terminator Overhaul that was too buggy for my tastes. I'll need to look up the mods required. Then I could I guess e-mail you the esp I made for the Alita tweak. The only thing I really did was merge the neck on the female endoskeleton face texture with the face texture provided by the Dimo somthing or another race I used to make it in photoshop with my first actual sucessful texture attempt. Prior her neck was flesh, which looked weird all things considered. At least to me since I was going for the Alita look.
I wouldn't go as far as to give you my character, grant you I did import the face from my Oblivion character and then tweaked it to fit better as Oblivion and Fallout 3 are different and Llunette looked weird until I changed a few sliders. But yeah there's a utility that allows you to import Oblivion faces into Fallout 3, grant you they never come out perfect. But yeah I wouldn't give you my character, I would give you the race maybe if I can sort it out. I'd never distribute it en-mass though because it's not my work really. It's me using other peoples work to create a desired effect. Give me time on this one.
Also I need a nice black body suit like Alita wears that covers the neck. I found one called Gantz that is meh, due to glowy effects and this dumb thing that protrudes from the neck portion. The Mantis Samus suit re-colored looks pretty good, but again no neck coverage. Someone needs to make a Gunnm mod.
While I got down basic Alita I still need suitable clothing. Like her opened trench coat would be cool too.
*ahem* veering off MAO. I'm not going to be around tomorrow or Tuesday. Doctor's appointments as I have recently fallen really ill. But I'll try to PM you something this week if you want to try the Alita race I made and try to give you some instructions and sent you the necessary files such as the esp and head re-texture.

The Unnecessary Violence mod has this as part of it's description:
"Features
Combat Styles:
- True dual wielding with any weapons including mod added ones
- No need for special off hand weapons, toggle ANY weapon (except bows and staffs) to off hand mode.
- For the first time ever in oblivion, fight independently with either hand
- Enchant or poison both of your weapons when dual wielding. If you've toggled a 1 handed weapon to off hand mode it will carry its enchantment over. The name is changed to reflect the charges, since they won't show up in the normal fashion"
This toggleing weapons to offhand works for both vanilla AND mod added weapons. It comes with it's own attack animations (they are timed with the attack, please don't replace them or bad things happen ;)
). Note, the offhand is now a true weapon able to damage, not an asthetically altered shield. Compatible with Deadly Reflex (ver.6 should be out in the nearish future).
"Weapon on back
- If you've toggled a weapon to off hand it will appear on your back, complete with scabbard when you sheath it.
- The scabbard will persist even when the weapon is drawn.
- Double tapping your draw/sheath weapon button allows you to leave the OH weapon sheathed, which gives you access to some different moves.
- Shields and downloaded OH weapons will disappear while your main weapon is sheathed."
Vanilla weapons are auto-sheathed on back, mod ones disappear (I gues it's that or make a patch for every mod weapon
). A note on this is scripted weapons (weapons with scripts attached), this mod comes with a spell to remove scripts. If you want to use Romuska Fantasy Store weapons, you can either use the remove script spell or alter the ini file for Unnecessary Violence to preserve the way the swords autoequip in Romuska Fantasy Store. It would be better if there was some sort of patch...
Keep in mind that UV is still in beta and is being constantly worked on by Hex-off. It uses both DMC & Seph animations (don't alter them
). It should be compatible with this mod.
Though it does not give the custom auto sheathing to mod weapons, for it's other features it supercedes dual weapon mods. That is why you will need to read up on how dual wield scripted auto sheathing mods interact with UV.
Here are some auto sheathing offhands:
Wyrmfang offhand disappears
Ninjutsu Kama by Deux Auto sheth on one or (my favourite) both hips
Assassin's Blade offhand disappears
SoB for Kanshou and Bakuya v125 Auto sheathes on back (as do all SoB mods, Shield on Back. They also require the original mods).
Nicos Scimitars Auto sheath on back, dual hopesfire from Morrowind hurrah!
Check out this WIP by PacificMorrowind: Common Oblivion Weaponry and Wardrobery
I will also list Buddah and Crowe's List of Offhand/Pary weapons though UV makes this list pretty much redundant, but you may want to have a look anyway.
