Installing multiple Sims3Packs at once

There is something very irritating whenever you want to install Sims3Packs. When you double-click on the file to install, it opens the launcher, and without asking you, installs the package straight away, regardless of whether you have another 10 files to install, which can be irritating, and be time consuming. Well as you would know, I put together the other downloads topic, researching where the exchange downloads go, and found an answer to work-around having the launcher open and having to install each pack separately.

In Windows Xp.

When you click on Add to Game on the exchange, it automatically downloads the file to
C:\Documents and Settings\HP_Owner\My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads but doesn't automatically install the content, and waits for further instructions.

Drag and Drop / Cut and Paste.

Drag and Drop / Cut and Paste your Sims3Pack files into that location. The next time you load up the game via the launcher it will indicate you have files awaiting to be installed, open up that tab, put a tick in the corresponding check-box and install!

Voila, you have bypassed the irritating installer, that usually wants you to install each package separately!
