How often do you actually finish a game?

I got way too many games, so quite a lot of them get neglected even though they're good games. Hell I even owned one game for over a year before I finally got round to playing it. I always intend to finish my games, but I often get distracted by other games. I probability only finished about two thirds of the games I own.

I always finish a game I start. They are too expensive not to. I also don't play many games, I get so consumed by a game, that's what I do for months either until I've played it every way it can be played or something else comes out. But I often buy a game that's been out for awhile so I KNOW about it before I buy it, the price has come down and if it's a moddable game, there are already some decent mods out there. I've only really played (All the Sims 1 - 3), Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout 3, Dragon Age Origins, Mass Effect 1 & 2 and now Borderlands. I dabble in Second Life but to me that doesn't count as a game. And I did play Guild Wars a little bit but really don't like the online gaming scene at all. I only played with my b/f and one of my admins and they weren't on when I was so I lost interest quickly. It sounds like we'll be getting a HoT group together when Guild Wars 2 comes out so I imagine I'll play again with my friends. That is the extent of my personal games I've played. My son has played many more and I always enjoyed watching him play but he never finished any of the games he started. I particularly loved watching him play the Devil May Cry and Halo series.

The ONLY game I have not finished is Zeno Clash. I have it on Steam and just can't get past enough markers in the game to actually SAVE it and that is so frustrating to me because everytime I go to play it, have to keep starting over. One of these days I'll buckle down and get to a save point but not until I have gotten bored of looking at Roland's butt in Borderlands.
