How do mods enhance your game

For me, mods are the most critical aspect into reviving an old game. Without mods, I doubt I would've played Oblivion for as long as I did. The one mod, I think it was "Paladins of the Nine," was an excellent quest mod and the armor was simply awesome! I played for months Oblivion carrying around that armor, not bothering to put on any others for that duration of time.
