1. How to Use

=============

To use the mod manager, you first need to set the data directory of your heroes installation, the default is:

"C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Heroes of Might and Magic V\data\"

Click the "Change\" button, and navigate to Your_heroes_installation\data directory, and click Ok.

After setting the directory, you can now add mods.

To add a mod, click the \"Add Mod\" button, and navigate to the mod .PAK file you want to add, and click Ok.

If the mod has an acompanying information file, when you have selected the mod, information about the mod should be visible in the mod information pane to the right.

If you are a modder, or simply want to add information to the mods you have, simply create a .txt file with the same name of the mod you want to add a description for, and place it in the data directory with the mod.

2. FAQ

======

Q. Where is my "Mod Directory"?

A. You can find your Mod Directory at "Your_Heroes_Install/data".

Q. How do i add a description to my mod or a mod I've downloaded?

A. There are two ways to do this, the first method is to create a readme.txt file and place it inside the root of the .pak (zip) file, and write whatever you like, and the program will read from this readme.txt file and display it in the "Mod Information" window.

The second method is to create a .txt file with the same name of the mod that you want to add a description to.

The readme.txt inside the pak file will take priority over the mod-name.txt

3. Changelog

============

1.2 -

When trying to scan non .zip PAK files for conflicts, instead of crashing,

the program will now produce an error.

Conflicting files will now display 1 path back before the file.

Some other minor bug fixes/gui improvements.

1.1 -

Added Conflict Checker

Mod Info window now reads from readme.txt inside .pak file

1.0 -

First release.
