Experience with Nifskope, and the Garden of Eden Creation Kit.
1. Open Nifskope. Load an unmodified 10MMPistol.nif and then View-> Show Blocks in List. Select NiHeader. In the Block Details window set the num of strings to 20. Right-click on Strings and choose Array-> Update. Goto the last String in the list and input Scope:0 and then View-> Show Blocks in Tree.
Select the NiTriStrips titled 10MMPistol:0 and Right-Click on it Block-> Copy Branch. Select BSFadeNode and Right-Click-> Block-> Paste Brance. Select your newly created branch and in the Block Details window input 19 as the value. Now find the BSShaderTextureSet and set the Textures to:
textures\weapons\1handpistol\Scope.dds
textures\weapons\1handpistol\Scope_n.dds
Select the BSFadeNode.File-> Import .Obj and Click the Ok Button. Find the Scope.obj file and then click the open button. Find the NiNode that was just added and select it's NiTriShape. Right-Click-> Mesh-> Stripify. Now select the NiTriStripsData and in the Block Details window find and set TSpace Flag to 16. Now Right-Click on NiTriStripsData and Batch-> Update All Tangent Spaces. Next Right-Click on NiTriStripsData Block-> Copy. Select the NiNode you imported and Right-Click-> Block-> Remove Branch.
Go find the NiTriStrips you named Scope:0 and select it's NiTriStripsData and then Right-Click-> Block-> Paste
Over.
Now Right-Click on the NiTriStrips named Scope:0 and Transform-> Edit. Set the Y rotation to -90. Set the Translation Y to 9.25 and the Translation X to 10.
File-> Save as. Goto the meshes\weapons\1handpistol folder. Input 10mmpistolMOD and click the Save button.
Finally make sure your .dds texture files are in textures\weapons\1handpistol folder.
