Because of changes in the latest FO3 patch, I've made some changes. Basically, bandages help some if used in combat, but maximized effect is outside of combat.

Two grades of bandages are for sale at various local and traveling waste land vendors.

Moria keeps a steady stock. Talon commandos regularly carry military grade bandages.

Normal grade bandages will greatly decrease duration and severity of bleeding.
Military grade bandages will stop pistol wounds in their tracks, but a 44 to face is still going to stuck. But a military bandage will save your ass.

Bandages work best outside of combat, but help even while in combat. Sorry you're not going to patching your wounds like a pro while some waste land asshole is still shooting. Jab a stim pack needle in your leg instead, and put on a non-stick bandage after the fight.

Normal Bandages-
Got holes in your skin? Losing body fluids by the bucket? Feeling faint? Then you need these little miracles! Take a minute out of your busy day. Relax and wrap your blood spouts with bandages! Shortens bleeding duration by half. What a deal! Wait there's more! They also decrease initial heavy bleeding. How much? That's a trade secrete. Run out and get yourself some today. Military Bandages-
Carried by your post bomb pseudo-military types and wasteland jerks. Now with hemostat and aloe! Dry up and close those wounds like nothing else. Instant relief from pistol rounds! Keeps those semi-auto rifle from turning your ass into Swiss cheese. Warning .44 rounds and missle hole still will mess up your day, but you'll probably see another day. Probably. Get yours today.

Tech Details-
Normal bandages give back 1HP/Sec for 60 secs while out of combat.
Military Bandages give back 2Hp/sec for 30 secs, then 1Hp/sec for 30s, all while out of combat.
