Epic Armada Mod v1.3 RC1
This mod is for the PC game Star Trek Armada II. The primary goal of the mod is to add new content and tweak certain aspects of the AI.
The computer opponents will build far more vessels and stations compared to the original Armada II, you may notice a difference in your FPS.
I have tried to maintain the games rules and play style, I have however tweaked the Borg race. They do not gain crew as fast as in the original Armada II.
Apart from that, the rest of the changes are to the AI and technology.
Installation
To install the mod, copy the contents of the compressed file in to your Armada II folder. Usually;
C:/Program Files/Activision/Star Trek Armada II
To Un-Install
Unfortunately no Un-Installer exists, youll have to re-install Armada or manually delete the files. Ill fix this soon.
Conflicts
I have tested this mod using the 1.1 patch and the popular graphical mod Midnight Universe. You should not attempt to use this mod in conjunction with other mods which add additional content.
Content
All of the new ships and stations have been created by various authors, I have simply put them all together, adjusted and added icons, wire frame meshes when necessary.
Bugs
The Borg AI wont seem to produce their Tactical Battle Array.

* Achilles Wolf Cannon tweaked, both range and damage have decreased
* Anti-Matter Spread removed from Achilles and added to the Flourish
* Achilles Officer and crew requirement cost reduced

* The Borg AI will produce the Pyramid and Cylinder
* (NEW) Spectacular Fusion Diamond added to the Borg
* (FIX) Corrected a shield remodulation bug when using Special weapon autonomy
* Advanced Nanites, Adv. Remodulation and Adv. Computer Override added to the Fusion Diamond
* +100% extra hitpoints to the Borg Superior Matrix

* Earth Defense Platform added to the Federation
* (FIX) The Earth Defense Platform can now be built by a constructor

* Temporal Distortion removed from the Federation Earth Defense Platform

* The Achilles can now be built from the regular shipyard instead of the advanced shipyard

* Cloak removed from the Romulan Ibis Cruiser to encourage the AI to use the vessel more wisely

* (FIX) The Romulan Ibis and Dera should now be buildable from the Advanced Shipyard
* All Special weapons removed from the Romulan Dera (FRAME RATE ISSUES)
* Romulan AI tweaked to build much less Warbirds and more S'Farets, Dera's and Ibis's
