Oh I'm not done on the idea of making my own realm. Ohhh no! After I tasted what it could have been like, especially with my own Daedric Guardians those Sentinel's, no way am I giving up. I'm just giving up on Dusaar, or rather the Dune mod, because I can't work with it. There is however a resource pack that has everything from the Dune mod within it except Dusaar its self. It's meant for building outside Dusaar with things found in it. I'll use that to build my realm eventually. It'll be much smaller than Dusaar regrettably, but when I get to it I will make it worthwhile.

You should be very sure this issue isn't being caused by a bad load order in OBMM (If you have it) or conflict with another mod. One of my mods (a really old one never released) conflicted with the game, but it was because of another mod I had running, which was completely unexpected as they weren't even based off of the same things...

It's not load order, actually I fiddled with load order up and down with all the DUNE esps, and there are a lot, which is a hazzard to begin with. Whenever a mod requires like 3 esps to actually run it sets off an alarm about its stability. If it had one stable esm and one esp to work off of, that would be one thing, or even just two esps no esm... But 3 esps? Mind you these weren't optional esps either, when I shut one down something went wrong every single time. Not to mention, since the mod was made with a foreign version of Oblivion if it was too low in the load order the NPC's have no voices, as there was no language support so I was forced to put it relatively high. Even so I fiddled with the load order like mad in most cases keeping the load structure the author said in the description to use. I even converted some files to esm's in hopes it would work. Notta nothing. I'm missing something that's all there is too it. I have never had a problem editing any mod, like the problems this mod gave me when I did something as simple as change the gender of a guard. No I didn't apply the new race to said guard, no I didn't use any of the esm's I created whilst editing the mod. I used just the mod's main esp and the Oblivion esm. I changed the guards sex and splat CTD.
Whatever resources that once existed for editing this mod are gone with the mods site. The author pulled the plug plain and simple. All that's left is a resource pack that was made by another modder, that allows you to add stuff from the Dune mod to Tamerial, but Dusaar its self doesn't exist. I think part of the problem may be that the mod was originally created as a total conversion from what I have read. Then it was converted, but I'm guessing there's a missing link. Not to mention the way the author batched the mod even with the mirrors was very sloppy. It was very rushed, I mean it was missing textures to begin with. I had to hunt down a fix for that, which was made by another modder. As cool as it could be Dune is just a mess.
Another thing that pushed me over the edge... What I think was the final straw was that there was no apparent pattern to all the glitches and CTD's when I edited the mod. It was like they were completely random. I would try editing one thing. Get one effect, then do the same exact thing and get another effect. The mod is just so unstable it made want to pull my hair out. There has to be something missing. Maybe the author didn't pack everything, maybe there was a patch of some sort that was never released, or was only released on the site, which is now gone. I HAVE NO IDEA! The site for the mod is gone! So I'm lost, trying google every shred of info I can, but still... Not enough... Sorry I had to rant about it. That was one of the most unstable mods I ever attempted to edit. Beautiful, and potentially awesome conceptually but, in practice a dead end with no rhyme or reason.
It would be much, much easier to build something myself using the resource pack.
