You can get much farther with a kind word and a gun than you can with a kind word alone.

I managed to play Dragon Age at last!!!!
So far I quite like the game, it reminds me of a few genres, Dungeon Siege 2 combined with Neverwinter Nights.
Comparative to NWN and Dungeon Siege the game is much more darker and from my initial experience it looks like your able to do many different evil actions.
Many have said that the game is a sequel to the popular Baldurs Gate series. Having been a big fan of the BG titles it did resemble them slightly.
Overall the game is great, there are loads of beautifully rendered scenes and lots of cutscenes which make the game feel like a movie in itself.
Combat is a little more exciting than NWN as you can actually see blood splatters. I like the way the blood seeps out of the dead corpses when you have slain a monster.
Graphically the game is great, playability is excellent too. I can't think of many things which are wrong with this game apart from the control system.
It does get very frustrating right clicking every where to move and to interact with objects/NPC's. You can use W,S,A,D on the keyboard but this does not feel natural to me.
The game tries to confuse you even further with the spell casting. Naturally one would assume you would use the right click to cast a spell, instead its left click.
If it weren't for this I'd endorse the game more, however its still a fantastic title, one which I would recommend that anyone experience for themselves.

WebSlug suggested this game to me as well, so I might give it a try. I'm quite curious about this title and didn't have any new game in a while, I just wonder if I can get it to run on wine^^

I played Dragon Age last night for quite some time. Hoola very kindly downloaded a load of mods for it.
The toolset is available too and I'm even thinking of making a couple of small mods for it.
