Advanced Multi-Layered Distance Blur Shaders by CyberMaster
Based on the Standard OBGE Distance Blur Shader by WrinklyNinja. As all I did was some ugly Copy/Paste work, credits go to him for coding the Shader.
This mod Uses OBGE V2.
This mod is my first mod i ever made, so please dont flame due to copy/paste work :)....
It adds 4 independent distance Levels to the Game; Each with its own Blur intensity. This Helps to get rid of those ugly Stripes and Bars u can see with the Standard Shader at high blur amounts. Also, It reduces Flickering Pixels in the Distance. This also blurs Cave/Ruin/Castle Interiors.
Shaders:
dof_lod_-2.fx --- Blurs at Distance 120 with intensity 5
dof_lod_-1.fx --- Blurs at Distance 400 with intensity 7
dof_lod_0.fx --- Blurs at Distance 1000 with intensity 8
dof_lod_+1.fx --- Blurs at Distance 5000 with intensity 10
The Images Compare The Standart Shader @ 1000 Distance @ 15 intensity and the multi Layered Shader.
For Installation just copy the 4 shader Files from the .zip File to your Oblivion/Data/Shaders dir.
Then create a new .txt file in the Shaders Directory and name it shaderlist.txt; afterwards add the four Shader Files to it; your Shaderlist.txt should look like this:
dof_lod_-2.fx
dof_lod_-1.fx
dof_lod_0.fx
dof_lod_+1.fx
Always remember that you need OBSE and OBGE to run this mod; also as this mod does 4 blur iterations keep in mind that you might get a massive performance loss, depending on your System.
