Diablo 3 release date is 2011

Diablo III's release date has been officially clarified as the "next few years"... which isn't much of a clarification, really.

That's according to a slide from a New York Blizzard presentation, which also penned StarCraft II expansion packs for the "next few years".

During the presentation, Activision Blizzard CFO, Thomas Tippl said the division has a full pipeline of content, which he presented in the slide pictured on this page.

According to the slide, Diablo's return won't happen until 2011 at the earliest.

Absolutely gutted! It keeps getting set back, hope its worth the wait and anticipation!!

I can't wait, I absolutely loved Diablo 2 LOD. I spent many hours on that game. I just hope the Battle net servers are free as they were for Diablo 2.

at least the release date is not 2012 :D

I found some specifications for Diablo 3 online, they look a bit odd to me, I would of expected it to need a 2 Ghz processor, minimum.
