Prophesy of Pendor V3.42 WARBAND
SINGLE PLAYER ONLY
From the Founding of Pendor - the year is 354
A King has not ruled the shattered land of Pendor for many generations. What was once a proud accomplishment of man now is steeped in the myths of folklore and told as children’s bedtime stories. Yet, the legends live on of a prophesy of hope. A tale of a champion who comes from a distant shore and unites the lords of Pendor under a single Ruler and brings peace and prosperity once again to this ravaged war-torn land.
All is not as it seems as there are many powers who have their own ends in mind and an epic struggle is about to unfold.
Strap on your sword, and buckle your imagination. Prepare to enter the world of Pendor and accept the challenge of the Prophesy - if you dare.
First off, many textures have been reworked to fit into Warband's graphical changes, meaning that Pendor is even more beautiful and varied than before. Second, the enemy AI has been revamped completely, gone are the days of peasants charging headlong into 100 strong filthy Nord armies, now enemies can run away from battle. Also, there are new formations, such as wedge and column that help you annihilate annoying enemies such as dirty Nordic warlords. Lastly, the randomly spawning named enemies have gotten a tweak that makes them spawn at rates a little less absurd, making the single player campaign for Mount and Blade: Warband much more enjoyable.
- Fixed typo in dialog.
- New "sally forth" formations feature (for all sieges).
- Fixed "stuck lords" bug.
- Fixed Marshal OP script error.
- Fixed Slot OP script error spam (if player has assigned troops to slot 7 and has no troops assigned to slot 8)
- Fixed loot division by 0 OP script error.
- Adjusted training garrisons (WIP).
- Dread Legion Infantry is now considered infantry.
- If player is knocked unconscious in siege battles the player troops are set to charge ( - like the other kinds of battles already do).
- Julia begins with power draw 4 skill level.
Technical Notes and General Information:
Not save game compatible with older versions of Prophesy of Pendor V1.00 to V2.5 including BETA’s of POP 3.0.
Take great care when attempting to install other stand-alone mods as enhancements to Pop 2.0. Embrace the expectation of failure. Make sure you can back out of anything you change. Do not assume that tweaking text files will work the same as they do in Native.
The first time you start to play.. The music does not start on the Splash screen (where you select to create a new character, restore games etc), it is to your advantage to exit the game and re-launch. We have had instances where the music does not start on the first time installs and there is important information relating to the game that you will miss.
While this has been heavily tested by dozens of rabid bug hunting folks who are obsessed with quality assurance, there may be minor issues. Please post them in the issue folder provided on the community forum.
This was developed on a low end system to ensure that it played smoothly on all systems that can normally handle Mount&Blade.
Please do not ask the Development team where quests are, how to find the Easter Eggs etc. Most of what is public will be found on the Wiki and the Development Team does not know where the Ester eggs are located.
NOTE for users experiencing crashes due to 64 bit operating systems.
There is a performance enhancement file that can be unpacked in this download. Open it up and read the directions to optiize the module for performance. Not recommended for non 64 bit systems.
With Kindest regards,
