Duplicating weapons, items, and moneyStart a co-op game with at least one other player. Stand next to another player, and initiate a trade. Give them the desired weapons/items/money you would like to duplicate. Then, immediately quit the game without saving by signing out of your profile, going to the dashboard, or resetting the system. Since the game did not save after you traded the weapons/items/money, you will still have them, and the other player you traded them to will also have them. The other player can then give you weapons/items/money while using the same method. Repeat this as many times as desired. Note: Do not trade items near an auto save point to prevent the game from accidentally saving while trading the items. -From: Psychotic Elf
Infinite Golden KeysNote: This glitch requires two controllers, two accounts (any type), a USB flash drive, and Golden Key. First, copy the saved game file for the primary profile (player one) on which you would like to use a Golden Key but not lose it to the USB flash drive. It is recommended the saved game file last be saved in Sanctuary so you are near the Golden Loot chest when you load the saved game, making the process quicker. The second profile (player two) is only going to hold the items and must have their save game file and profile on a different storage device like the hard drive, but make sure it is not stored on the flash drive where the primary profile is stored for player one. Next, start the game, and choose to load from the flash drive where player one's profile was copied. Then, have player two join using a separate profile stored on a different storage device, making sure player one is the host. Once both players are in Sanctuary, remove the flash drive that player one's saved game was loaded from. You will then be prompted with a notification that further progress will not be saved unless you choose a new storage device. Do not choose a new storage device; just choose to continue. Then, have player one open the Golden Loot chest. The chest will contain two rare purple weapons, one rare purple rocket launcher, two rare purple shields, or two rare purple mods. Have player two grab the loot, and then have player two choose the "Save and Leave Game" option. Once player two has left the game, have player one quit the game without saving by signing out of your profile, going to the dashboard, or resetting the system. When player one's profile is loaded again, a Golden Key will not have been used. Load both profiles, have player two give player one all the loot, and save. Repeat this as many times as desired. Note: This glitch was done on an unpatched version of the game. You can delete all patches for the game by using the "Clear hard drive cache" code for the Xbox 360.
Note: This trick requires a Golden Key from a pre-order code. Using a second controller, sign a second player in to join your game. If you do not have a separate account, create any type of account. Then, have the second player open the Golden Loot chest in Sanctuary, and have player one grab the loot. It will not use the Golden Key the first player has. Then, create another account, and repeat this as many times as desired. Note: The loot will only be Level 7 unless the second player is at a level higher than Level 7.
Infinite Badass pointsSince Badass points are assigned to your profile and not a specific saved game file, it is possible to get an unlimited number of Badass points easily. Create a new character and have a second player join the game as a guest on controller two. Stand in front of the guest character with your main character, and keep activating a trade with each other by pressing B. Trades count whether you actually trade anything or not. Simply activate "Trade" without actually offering anything to still have it count as a trade. Do this 50 times to get a total of 166 Badass points. Then, create a new character and repeat the process as many times as desired. You can delete all the unwanted created characters once you are finished using this trick. Note: You can also do this with dueling. Stand in front of the guest character with your main character, and start a duel. Win the duel, and repeat the process. Fifty duel victories will result in a total gain of 166 Badass points. This can be done even quicker by setting up the controller configuration so you can keep tapping [Melee/Attack] without changing your aim at the second player.
Infinite EridiumIn Three Horns Valley, go northwest on the map to the hideout where you fight the Bad Maw boss (the area is right next to the entrance to Bloodshot Stronghold. Kill Bad Maw, and pick up the Eridium he drops. Then, enter the Bloodshot Stronghold, and choose the "Save and Quit" option. Continue the game, return to Three Horns Valley, and kill Bad Maw again to get more Eridium. Repeat this as many times as desired. Note: This glitch was done on an unpatched version of the game. You can delete all patches for the game by using the "Clear hard drive cache" code for the Xbox 360.
