Black Ops is UK’s #1 Selling Game of 2010

The UK’s best selling video games of 2010 have been revealed. As far as the all format charts are concerned Black Ops sits pretty at the top. What a surprise I hear you thinking! Well, considering Black Ops was released so late in the year, becoming the #1 selling game of 2010 is no small feat for the latest Call of Duty title.

Black Ops beat off FIFA 11 and Just Dance, which came in at 2nd and 3rd, respectively. Halo: Reach, which was released much earlier in the year, only managed to sneak in the top 10 all format chart at number 9, and even failed to beat out FIFA 11 in the Xbox 360 chart.

Interestingly, Black Ops didn’t even make the top five on the PC chart! Who said piracy was dead?

what you seem to forget here, is the ammount of returns of call of duty black ops, i have not bought the game (i hate call of duty games, they have just gone silly since the modern warefare ones) like about 2-3 weeks after black ops was released, alot of my friends and loads of other people i know where trying to return the game saying they grew bored of the game extreamly quickly, one of my friends tried selling the game to me for one pound, even though he only bought it a week ago (and he was not joking as well, he wanted to get rid of it as quickly as possable) i most certainly will not buy this game anyways, not even for a pound, not even for a penny, the reviews of the game was all done by "adult" mags like "ZOO" and so on, who know nothing about games and only strange people like my older brother would read (and does read by the massive collection he hides under his bed)and my opinion about this game you ask? well, lets just say its my "game epic fail" of 2010 and for the rest of time.
