[RELz] Arvandor
by Evandar » April 25th, 2009, 7:40 pm
My latest mod, which I call Arvandor is finished!
It's a pretty short little adventure that takes place in a cave, and if you manage to slay the foul beasts within you will be rewarded with the Arvandor sword (which glows in the dark!). This mod requires the latest patch, and also the Shivering Isles expansion pack.

Deep inside the Forbidden Cavern is a extremely powerful sword hidden.
Brave adventures from all over Tamriel have entered the cavern in search of the ancient artifact, but none have returned. Will you?
Look for the Forbidden Cavern map marker when you start the game. Or just walk around and see if you can find it ^^
Note: You will only be able to enter the dungeon if you are level 20 or higher, because of the enemies you will face and because of the powerful sword.
I guarantee the boss will beat the hell out of you, if you had trouble defeating Umbra, I don't recommend you go down there yet.
Requirements: Shivering Isles, Latest patch (1.2.0416)

Neat I always like a good dungeon crawl every so often. I'll be sure to pick it up.

At first Arvandor seems like a normal Dungeon, there were a few Zombies at first and I thought I was in for an easy ride.
When I got to the Hall of Shadows things had picked up and I was beginning to look at my health more and more.
The difficulty seemed accurate for my level character although I would probably recommend more than a level 20 character to complete this.
The coffin animations and traps were very cool, I did get stuck in a blocked corridor after a rock fall and had to use the TCL command to escape.
The textures and meshes for the sword were a neat addition and I liked the fact the door teleports you back outside afterwards. I'm lazy
Overall I would say it was a great quest, it left me wanting more. Its a really good illustration of what a dungeon quest should be.
I'm looking forward to seeing your next Quest mod Evandar. Keep up the good work.
