Artwork, the soul of life...

i have decided to set up this topic because there is no artwork topic on this forum, which i think is a big shame because i know some people on this forum are fantastic at art, everything from making signatures in programs like gimp, to grand masterpieces of art on gallery walls can go here, so basically if you have created any kind of art work, from sketches, paintings, computer edited images, photography, even pieces of music which you may have made or edited which you think should go here is welcome, so very simply, the artwork can be of any kind, maybe even screenshots of games which you have took and edited yourself can go here as well, please though, obey the forums rules, and also please no adult images, but anyways i hope this is an topic which we will all be able to enjoy and also be inspired by...

here is a piece i did last night, when i was very bored at 1am in the morning, and i could not get to sleep...

... the quality of this image is not to good because the camera i took it with is not very good, meaning this image does not look as good as the original image. but i am at least happy that it can still be seen, but i am sad so much of the fine detail has been lost due to my **** camera. like i have always been good at sketching, ever since i was about 5 years old, like i remember i was doing artwork which was GCSE quality when i was only 12 meaning i was far ahead from everyone else in my class, but it is a shame that my art teachers did not encourage me with doing sketches and they forced me to make crappy cardboard sculptures, especially seeing that i was in an arts collage, but that does not matter now.

i mainly have done this image because of strange angel recently making a topic about the new silent hill, and ever since she talked about it, i just cant stop thinking about the game with all its beautiful artwork and creatures within it. i think i may have made the helmet of pyramid head abit too long, but it is still good enough i think especially seeing that this was done with the light from an old lamp, a old piece of paper in a draw, and also a really bad, really hard hb pencil which was more like a h4 pencil [the graphite was not of good quality at all] i think i will make another image like this soon though, but i think it will mean i will need to search around my house abit until i can find my old art set which i got quite awhile ago. but anyways this is all from me for now until i can find my old set of art materials, but it will not take long, like it is about time that i start to get back at my old art roots...

Hi Keylek, i know you posted this AGES ago but ive only just started using the forum again (Ive been adjusting to uni life lol). Really liking the picture and thought you should know! Did you ever find your art set and do the other pic?

I love to sketch, this one was drawn in pencil then coloured using the computer.

i did re-find the art kit and made a few others, i also have done alot of photoshop work as well, as well as alot more physical artwork which i used recently to get my grades. i may show some of it here, but i will see.
